This energy dense calcium and iron rich shake is a great way to start your day. If you are hungry and not in a mood to cook you will get all the nutrients with one serving of this revitalizer.

Yield: 1 glass
Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup dates (khajur) deseeded
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 banana
- 1 tbsp honey
- 4 to 6 ice cubes
Instructions:
- Heat the milk in a broad non-stick pan, add the dates and cook on a medium flame for 1 to 2 minutes.
- Soak the dates in the milk for 10 to 15 minutes till the dates soften and the milk is cold. Keep aside.
- Combine the date-milk mixture, banana and honey along with ice-cubes and blend in a mixer till smooth.
- Serve immediately.
